Change for Goodness Sake (1 of 2)

I've been referring to change a lot lately and it's no coincidence - not that I believe in coincidences but that's another post.

As a race or species we are told by numerous sources that we are undergoing monumental change on every level of our existence.  Change that is beyond the detection of physical science because these changes are not only of a physical nature...they are predominantly of the Universal kind.  How do I know for sure whether or not this change is happening?  Because I am experiencing great change, in some shape or form, first hand, everyday.

Further, change is one of the main ingredients for producing our highest expression as human beings (human excellence) and human excellence is a subject of great interest to us here at Universal Truths.  We have come to believe, with everything in us, that change means evolution and evolution means Life. And Life lived in excellence, as the Sages of the Ages have taught us, is a Life truly worth living!

Whenever I entertain any doubt about whether change is good or bad, I remind myself that it is absolutely great because whatever is happening, regardless of its appearance, is happening for my highest good.  I can say this with conviction because I have begun reaping the rewards of years of training to refocus my attention toward my good and now recognise more and more that in reality there is nothing but this Goodness – it just so happens to include a vast array of contrast from which I can differentiate and select.

Like billions of others getting around on this extraordinary planet we call Earth, I wasn't always so sure or so clear about this concept.  Then, AND in the occasional now moments of living life, my doubt becomes apparent when I again function from the place of limited information and beliefs.  In doing so I reap the consequences of that limited thinking by producing undesirable conditions.

Through study, implementation and experience I have come to know that my conditions are not only a direct response to my thoughts, feelings, words, and actions, but they are 100% accurate, although not 100% exact - here's what I mean...

A reason why I haven't to-date instantly received millions of dollars in lottery prizes, engaged specific companies to share our services with, hooked up with people that look like this and act like that, cured ailments and illnesses this way by this time, or occupied a CBD abode in that building with this address, is because these are all a matter of how.   What I have learnt to do instead is open channels and receive big, happy, financial surprises, engage with large iconic Australian and global companies, meet and know many lovely and interesting folks, and focus on health and other desirable conditions.  And, how Life played out the details of these experiences through me, was not in ways I could have expected nor requested.

I’ve since learnt that how is the desire/Will of Life Itself and thank goodness this is so because it certainly makes things easier, more elegant, and far quicker than anything I could have produced myself.  Life has the means and the ways for how to manifest what we desire that is beyond finding out.

My role, as I now understand it, in the change/evolution process is to contemplate what and not deviate until what next activities (what we also refer to as Divinely Inspired Actions) appear in my consciousness.

To continue the process that starts with a thought, idea, inkling, or desire, I contemplate and hold my thoughts and feelings on what it actually feels like to be, do and have the details of that condition now.  I am continually becoming more and more disciplined in what thoughts I entertain and what I’m feeling because I now know this is part of the creative process; for the production of desirable and undesirable conditions.

An example of what thinking in order to change my condition of not enough money was to contemplate instead what it actually felt like now that I have (note: not "going to have" meaning its coming, but "now have") more than enough of the substance called money or currency to do what I want, when I want, where I want, and with who I want?  And, yes indeed, wealth includes much more than money!  No matter what stage of wealth we are demonstrating or expressing today, there is always more available...and for very good reason.

Regarding an ideal job, an example of this what thinking to manifest a change in my conditions is to feel deeply who I am being, what I am doing, and what I have, now that I am providing a service that contributes to my joy, and that is good for many.  When I thought about, and took action towards, providing a particular service because of what I could earn, and the money dilemmas this could solve, I earned little and often found the related activities arduous.  Now that I'm focused on providing a service because of the value I am and can yet provide, my income streams have opened up and money has arrived from a variety of unexpected channels.  A key here was to recognise the true Source of my supply – yet another topic for another time.

Regarding what thinking and an ideal relationship, I changed this by replacing my thoughts of being single and the looming doom of failure, distrust, and disappointment in any shape or form with my fairytale outcomes.  Today, I continue to change/evolve it by changing my own thoughts and feelings and by becoming the person I wish to be with, thereby attracting my perfect mirror as my reflection.  In my opinion, intimate relationships are most telling of where we are up to in our personality and its expression  - physically, mentally and spiritually, when viewed and conducted in an enlightened manner.  Anthony reveals to me areas to be healed and refined and the more I did and continue to do this, the more beautiful my mirror image becomes, literally and metaphorically.

My role, as I've come to understand and live it in the game of life, is to differentiate and select from the array of available life experiences.  In other words it is to decide what I desire to be, do, and have by contemplating what those conditions and experiences would feel like if they were true for me right now.  By holding these visions and imaginary experiences as true, I am breathing Life into them and playing my perfect part.  The fake it till you make it phrase and perfect practice are vital concepts when playing the change game.  Even scripture tells us to "call things that are not as though they were."

Seven Things to Remember in Using Your Thought Power
for the Production of New Conditions

1. Be sure to know exactly what conditions you wish to produce.  Then weigh carefully to what further results the accomplishment of your desire will lead.
   
   
2. By letting your thought dwell upon a mental picture, you are concentrating the Creative Action of Spirit in this centre, where its forces are equally balanced.
   
   
3. Visualising brings your objective mind into a state of equilibrium which enables you to consciously direct the flow of Spirit to a definitely recognised purpose, and to carefully guard your thoughts from including a flow in the opposite direction.
   
   
4. You must always bear in mind that you are dealing with wonderful potential energy, which is not yet differentiated into any particular form, and that by the action of your mind, you can differentiate it into any specific form that you will.  Your picture assists you to keep your mind fixed on the fact that the inflow of this Creative Energy is taking place.  Also by your mental picture, you are determining the direction you wish the sensitive Creative Power to take, and by doing this, you make the externalisation of your picture a certainty.
   
   
5. Remember when you are visualising properly that there is no strenuous effort to hold your thought-forms in place.  Strenuous effort defeats your purpose, and suggests the consciousness of an adverse force to be fought against, and this creates conditions adverse to your picture.
   
   
6. My holding your picture in a cheerful frame of mind, you shut out all thoughts that would disperse or dissipate the spiritual nucleus of your picture.  Because the law is Creation in its action, your pictured desire is certain of accomplishment.
   
   
7. The seventh and great thing to remember in visualising is that you are making a mental picture for the purpose of determining the quality you are giving to the previously undifferentiated substance and energy, rather than to arrange the specific circumstances for its manifestation.   That is the work of the Creative Power itself.  It will build its own forms of expression quite naturally, if you will allow it, and save you a great deal of needless anxiety.   What you really want is expansion in a certain direction, whether of health, wealth or what not, and so long as you get – as you surely will, if you confidently hold to your picture – what does it matter whether it reaches by some channel which you thought you could count upon, or through some other of whose existence you had no idea.  You are concentrating energy of a particular kind for a particular purpose.  Keep this in mind and let specific details take care of themselves, and never mention what you are doing to anyone.
